Kwame Arhin

Biography

Kwame is a buy-side Investment Banker with extensive experience in Asset Management, Fixed Income Trading and Corporate Banking. He has had significant experience managing and administering over GHS 700 million in Pension, Retail and Private Wealth Assets. Mr. Arhin has also spent the last few years of his career, developing greenfield projects in healthcare and financial technology.

Kwame has had previous roles as Partner at Temple Investments, Managing Director, IC Asset Managers (ICAM) and Vice President, Global Markets Group – IC Securities where he started the division’s Fixed Income and FX operations. At ICAM, he helped facilitate the growth of the firm into one of the leading Investment and Pension Fund Managers in Ghana. In 2012/2013, he co-led the execution of the NPRA’s GHS 500m TPFA mandate.

Mr. Arhin, early on in his career, worked as an Assistant Corporate Manager at GCB Bank where he provided debt solutions to government and quasi-government institutions. He holds the CFA UK Certificate in Investment Management, an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling, Scotland and a BSc Admin (Banking and Finance Honours) from the University of Ghana Business School. He is also certified by the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Investment Advisor’s Representative.
