Maame Konadu has had significant experience in Financial Accounting, Telecommunications, Broadcasting and Media roles in the USA and West Africa. She started her career in Finance, initially working with Wells Fargo as a Financial Analyst in Treasury and Mortgage Compliance before joining Limited Brands LLC as a Senior Accountant working for various FMCG outlets.

She was most recently the Chief Executive Officer at Viasat 1, an independent Television Broadcast Station where she previously served as Chief Operating Officer. Maame prior to her Viasat 1 experience had a near 5-year spell, working with Millicom International Cellular; initially as a Product Manager for their prepaid voice products and subsequently as Category Manager – a role which made her directly responsible for over 80% of the total revenues generated by Millicom Ghana. Maame’s portfolio included prepaid and postpaid voice, SMS and Devices.

Maame holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Drake University in Ohio, USA and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the same university. She is also certified as a Chartered Public Accountant.
